PRAYER - Blessing Way

O Great One, I come before you in a humble manner,
giving thanks for all living things in Creation.
I offer the clarity of my mind, body, spirit and natural space in prayer to you, O Great One, for the spirit of all Creation.
I offer thanks and what gifts I have to Four Sacred Directions and powers of the universe and I pray:

To the spirit of fire in the East,
To the spirit of Earth in the South,
To the spirit of Water in the West,
To the Spirit of Wind in the North.

I pray and give thanks to you O Great One.
I pray and give thanks to Mother Earth, Father Sky, Grandfather Sun,
Grandmother Moon, and all of our relations in the Greater Circle of Life.
I thank you for your power, energy, wisdom and sacred gifts, because without you and the guidance of all my relations, I would not be able to live, and love, and grow, and feel and learn.
I ask that I be shown another way if I have ever harmed or hurt other living things.
I pray, offering what gifts I have, that you may guide us, heal us, purify us, and protect us.
I pray for all of our relations that we may exist together in harmony and balance.

FALL FULL CIRCLE 2012 - September 21, 22, and 23, 2012

Dear Friends of Full Circle:

You are invited to join us at the Chestnut Tree Inn in Cherokee, North Carolina for our Fall Full Circle weekend gathering.  The date is Sept. 21, 22, and 23, 2012.  We will be in the conference center in the hotel.  Registration will begin at 6:30 PM on Fri. evening with Full Circle starting at 7 PM.  We will close the circle no later than noon on Sun.

The theme for Fall Full Circle 2012 is about "RELATIONSHIPS and UNDERSTANDING BASED ON A CHEROKEE PERSPECTIVE."  This is a time for transformation and deciding how we want to change things in our environment for better balance in our lives.  Cherokee stories will be shared in group activities and teachings.  This includes the beginning when animals lived in the Skyway above the Earth that became the home we know as Mother Earth.  As the Cherokee myths tell, animals and birds gave of their spirits so human beings would exist with purpose and protection of all things.  This perspective brings us together in Full Circle for sharing these teachings, being part of group activities, and participating in transforming our feelings for seeking healing and change.

Full Circle is a time to connect with others having similar interests and seeking a healing perspective in our lives.  As the "old ones" have said, "the humans were put here by the Great Spirit to protect our Earth Mother by bringing about harmony and balance."  The natural beauty in the Great Smoky Mountains surround us with their power and healing energy.  We will enjoy group time in some of the sacred places in and around Cherokee.  Fall Full Circle will include Cherokee stories, songs, drumming, ceremonial dance, and flute music in giving thanks.  Being in the sacred mountains allows us protection as we open our heart, mind, and spirit in healing and inner peace.

Come join us for Fall Full Circle in Cherokee, North Carolina.  We look forward to seeing you and having you be a part of the Full Circle experience.
